Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution. Minimum 1 year post qualification experience as an Officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank (Second Schedule of RBI). Preferred Certifications: IC 38 from Insurance Institute of India; NISM Series V A: Mutual Fund Distributors Certification; NISM Series XXI-A: PMS Distributors Certification; NISM Series XIII: Common Derivatives Certification.
Age Limit: Minimum: 21 years, Maximum: 30 years (as on 01.08.2026). Age relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC (NCL) – 3 years; PwBD (Gen/EWS) – 10 years, (OBC) – 13 years, (SC/ST) – 15 years; Ex-Servicemen (Gen/EWS) – 5 years, (OBC) – 8 years, (SC/ST) – 10 years.

Candidates who have resigned from an officer-grade position in Bank of Baroda, or exited the Bank while on contract within the last three years as on the cut-off date, are not eligible to apply. Selection Procedure:
Online Test: 120 questions, 120 marks, 120 minutes. Sections: English Language (30Q/30M/30 min – qualifying only), Banking Knowledge (30Q/30M/30 min – Bilingual), General/Economic Awareness (30Q/30M/30 min – Bilingual), Reasoning Ability & Quantitative Aptitude (30Q/30M/30 min – Bilingual). Penalty: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT): Candidates shortlisted in Online Examination must qualify the Local Language Proficiency Test (reading, writing, speaking, understanding). Exempted if 10th/12th marksheet shows the local language as a studied subject.
Psychometric Test: May be conducted to assess personality, communication, problem-solving, and suitability.

BOB Local Bank Officer Important Instructions
Candidates can apply for only one state; multiple applications will result in forfeiture of fees for extra registrations.
No change of category is permitted at any stage after registration of the online application.
Candidates must possess a valid personal email ID and mobile number, kept active till completion of the recruitment process.
Candidates are advised to possess or acquire a valid Aadhaar card, as Online Aadhaar verification will be conducted at various stages.
