Educational Qualification (Mandatory): Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry / Microbiology / Biochemistry / Bio-technology from a recognized University + Diploma in Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Technician Course / Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent from a recognized institution. Candidates must also possess basic knowledge of computer application and adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

The selection for GPSSB Laboratory Technician Recruitment 2026 will be based on:

Computer Based Recruitment Test (CBRT) / OMR Written Test: Objective type MCQ questions. Syllabus includes subject knowledge + General Knowledge, English, Gujarati, etc.

Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for verification of original documents and certificates.

Final Merit: Prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Test. Waiting list will also be prepared as per rules.

Fee is payable online through SBI e-Pay (Debit Card / Credit Card / UPI / Net Banking). Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

GPSSB Laboratory Technician Recruitment 2026 Application Form

The application is to be submitted only in online mode. There is no offline or physical application form. Candidates must visit the official OJAS website https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in and fill the online application form. The form includes sections for personal details, educational qualifications, category details, upload of recent passport size photograph (15 KB) and signature (15 KB) in JPG format.

After filling all details, candidates must pay the application fee (if applicable) through SBI e-Pay and submit the form. A correction window may be opened for a limited period after the closing date (fee applicable). Candidates must take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
