Final Year/Semester students who expect their final results by 14.08.2027 are also eligible, provided they have obtained 65% marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate of all semesters/years up to the pre-final examination in their bachelor's degree/IDD.

GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Age Limit 2026

GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Salary 2026

Selected candidates will be placed at E2 level in the pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000/- IDA for a period of one year during On-The-Job Training (OJT), along with other applicable allowances and benefits. Upon successful completion of training, Executive Trainees will be regularized at E2 level in the same pay scale of Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000/- IDA. The training period may be extended based on performance evaluation or at the discretion of the Management.

Upon regularization, the compensation package will also include Performance Related Pay, Company Leased Accommodation/Company Quarters or HRA, reimbursement of monthly conveyance expenditure, mobile facility, Group Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, PF, Gratuity, Pension, Leave encashment, and other allowances and benefits as applicable. The Corporation also offers short and long-term Loans & Advances, including House Building Advance, and medical facilities for self and dependents.

Selected Executive Trainees must execute a service agreement bond to successfully complete the prescribed training period and thereafter serve the organization for at least three years. • Stage 1 – GATE-2027: Candidates must qualify in the corresponding GATE-2027 paper (EE for Electrical / CS for Computer Science). Only GATE-2027 normalized marks (out of 100) are valid.

• Stage 2 – Shortlisting: Qualified candidates are shortlisted category-wise for Group Discussion & Personal Interview based on normalized GATE-2027 marks.

• Stage 3 – Behavioral Assessment (if applicable): Shortlisted candidates may undergo Behavioral Assessment. Results used only as input during interview; no qualifying marks.

• Stage 4 – Group Discussion (GD): No qualifying marks for GD. Weightage: 3%.

1. Candidates must appear and qualify in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper or Computer Science and Information Technology (CS) paper of GATE-2027.

2. Application window for GRID-INDIA shall be opened after declaration of GATE-2027 results. A separate notification shall be issued on GRID-INDIA website.

GRID-INDIA Executive Trainee Recruitment 2026 – Important Instructions

• Only Indian Nationals of age 18 years or above are eligible to apply for GRID-INDIA.

• Essential qualification must be recognized in India and obtained from a recognized Institution or University.

• Candidates have the option of appearing in English or Hindi for GD/Interview.

• Selected candidates are liable to be posted anywhere in India and Abroad as per organizational requirement; no request for change in posting will be entertained for the first 5 years from the date of joining. Only candidates willing to serve at all GRID-INDIA locations should apply.

• Where CGPA/OGPA/DGPA or a Letter Grade is awarded, its equivalent percentage of marks must be indicated as per the norms adopted by the University/Institute; if no conversion scheme exists, equivalence is established by dividing the CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying by 100.

• Candidates working in Government Organizations/PSUs must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of interview. Those unable to route their application through proper channel or produce an NOC must submit a declaration agreeing to forego carry-forward of leave, gratuity, etc., and produce a Final Relieving Letter at the time of joining.

• Candidates claiming OBC-NCL reservation should belong to the OBC non-creamy layer as on the last date of online submission of application.
