Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions including educational qualification, computer knowledge, and language proficiency. Age limit is calculated as on 29-05-2026 (last date of application). Age relaxation is available for women, reserved categories, PwD, and Ex-servicemen as per Government of Gujarat rules.

GSSSB Pharmacist/Compounder (Ayurveda) Recruitment 2026 - Salary & Benefits

Selected candidates will be appointed as Pharmacist/Compounder (Ayurveda), Class-3 with a fixed pay for the first 5 years. After successful completion of 5 years of satisfactory service, candidates will be given regular appointment on 7th Pay Commission scale.

Note: Regular appointment after 5 years is subject to satisfactory performance during the initial period.

The selection process for GSSSB Pharmacist/Compounder (Ayurveda) Recruitment 2026 consists of a single-stage MCQ Examination (CBRT/OMR based) followed by Document Verification. The examination will have 210 questions for 210 marks with 3 hours duration. There is negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.

• Minimum Qualifying Standard: 40% in both Part A and Part B separately
