Candidates must be citizens of India.
For the regular vacancy (04/2026): open to all eligible candidates meeting the qualification and age criteria below.
For the backlog vacancy (05/2026): reserved for candidates currently working as Para Teacher (Sahayak Adhyapak) under the Jharkhand Shiksha Pariyojna Parishad, Ranchi, with a minimum of two continuous years of service as on the date of advertisement publication.
Educational qualification must be held as on the last date of online application submission (reference date).

Selection for both regular and backlog vacancies will be based on a single-stage Written Examination (Main Exam) conducted in OMR/Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
Exam Pattern – Intermediate Trained Assistant Teacher (Class 1–5):
Paper 1: Mother tongue (Qualifying – minimum 30% required) – 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours
Paper 2: Notified language (Hindi/English/Urdu/regional languages) – 100 Questions, 100 Marks, 2 Hours
Paper 3: General Knowledge & Current Affairs (50) + Social Science (75) + Science & Mathematics (75) – 200 Questions, 200 Marks, 3 Hours
Total: 300 marks counted for merit + 100 qualifying marks (Paper 1 marks are qualifying only).

Visit the official JSSC website: https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in/
Click on “Online Application for JTAACCE-2026 (Para Teacher)” and complete registration.
Note down the registration number and password sent via SMS/email.
Log in again and fill in complete personal, educational, and category details; save and continue through each page. Select whether you are applying for the regular vacancy (04/2026), backlog vacancy (05/2026), or both.
Pay the exam fee online after logging in again the next day (post 12:00 noon). Only one fee is payable even if applying for both advertisements.
One day after fee payment, log in again to upload your scanned photograph and signature.
Verify all details, submit the form, and take a printout for future reference.
JSSC JTAACCE-2026 Important Instructions
Admission to the exam is purely provisional; issuance of an admit card does not confirm final eligibility, which is verified later through document checks.
Candidates must ensure their name spelling and date of birth match their matriculation certificate exactly.
Reservation benefits will only be given if claimed in the prescribed format in the online application; certificates in formats other than those prescribed in the notification's appendices will generally not be accepted.
Mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth devices, or any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside exam centres.
Scribe/writer facility is available only for specified categories of PWD candidates (blindness, low vision, both-hand locomotor disability, cerebral palsy) subject to a written request submitted at least 15 days before the exam.
Candidates involved in furnishing false information, impersonation, or malpractice will have their candidature cancelled and may be barred from JSSC examinations for the next 2 years, besides facing legal action.
The admit card will be available for download on the JSSC website only; it will not be sent by post.
The Commission reserves the right to change the exam schedule and format due to unavoidable circumstances.
Merit for JTET/other TET-qualified candidates under reserved categories will be counted only against reserved-category vacancies.
Result revaluation requests can be submitted within 7 days of result declaration with a fee of ₹500, in the prescribed format.
