Registration Time: 09:00 hrs to 12:00 hrs only on the date of walk-in interview.

What is the Monthly Remuneration?

The consolidated monthly remuneration for each post varies depending on the class of city of posting (A, B, or C Class). The remuneration is inclusive of Basic, DA, HRA, Conveyance and Mobile Allowance. Annual remuneration will increase by 4% on completion of every year, subject to KRCL's discretion.

What are the Eligibility Criteria?

The recruitment notification includes vacancies for six different posts. Candidates must fulfil the prescribed educational qualifications, experience and age criteria to be eligible. The required qualifications vary according to the post applied for.

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for Project Engineer (M&P) must have:

• Full time Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Production & Industrial Engineering/Automobile/Manufacturing/Mechatronic/Material Sciences/Metallurgical Engineering from a recognized (AICTE) University/Institute.

• Minimum 01 year post-qualification experience. Preference for experience in Repair & Maintenance of Machinery and Plant.

Candidates applying for Project Engineer (Ele. Maintenance) must have:

• Full time Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or closely related sub-streams from a recognized (AICTE) University/Institute.

• Minimum 01 year post-qualification experience in Electrical/Mechanical Industry. Preference for experience in Power distribution/supply sector or repair/maintenance of electrical installations.

Candidates applying for Technician (Mechanical) must have:

• ITI Certificate from a recognized ITI/Technical Training Institute or any Government approved authority in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics or related trades.

• Minimum 01 year post-qualification experience in Mechanical Industry.

Candidates applying for Technician (Electrical) must have:

• ITI Certificate from a recognized ITI/Technical Training Institute or any Government approved authority.

• Minimum 01 year post-qualification experience in repair/maintenance of any electrical system.

Candidates applying for Yard Operations Supervisor must have:

• Graduate in any discipline from a recognized institute/university.

• Minimum 01 year post-qualification experience. Preference for experience in yard operations/shunting in railway siding/power plant/cement industry/port or similar.

Candidates applying for Shunting Operator must have:

• Minimum 10th Pass (compulsory).

• Minimum 01 year post-qualification experience in yard operations/shunting in railway siding/power plant/cement industry/port or similar.

Age Limit

The age criteria differ depending on the post. The age limit will be calculated as on 01 May 2026. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC (NCL) and 5 years for SC/ST candidates is applicable.

• Fill in the application form with all required personal and educational details.

• Affix a passport size photograph on the application form, signed across.

Candidates must carry the following self-attested documents at the time of walk-in interview. Failure to attach any of these documents may render the applicant ineligible.

• Self-attested copies of certificates in proof of qualification as per the notification annexure.

• Self-attested copy of proof of Date of Birth (SSLC/SSC Certificate/Birth Certificate).

• Copy of Caste Certificate in the format required for Central Government employment (for OBC-NCL/SC/ST candidates).

• Copy of service certificate for Ex-servicemen, if applicable.
