• Age is calculated as on 1 January 2026 for Madhya Pradesh domiciled candidates.

• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates are not eligible for age relaxation.

• Additional age relaxation applicable to Ex-servicemen and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities is as per orders issued by the General Administration Department from time to time.

MPESB Group 3 Selection Process

Selection Procedure:

• Online Written Examination: A single online objective-type question paper of 200 marks will be conducted. The exam consists of two sections:
  – Section A (100 marks): General Knowledge, General Hindi, General English, General Mathematics, General Logical Ability, General Science, General Computer Knowledge.
  – Section B (100 marks): Technical/Trade-based questions relevant to the applied post.

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

• Percentile-based Merit: Results will be prepared on the basis of Percentile scores using Normalized Equi-Percentile (NEP) scaling technique, especially when the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.

1. Visit the official website www.mponline.gov.in or www.esb.mp.gov.in.

2. Click on the relevant recruitment notification for Group-03 Combined Recruitment Examination-2026 (Second).

4. Fill in the online application form with accurate personal, educational, and other required details.

5. Upload scanned color photograph, signature, and handwriting sample in the prescribed format.

MPESB Group 3 Important Instructions

• Aadhaar-based registration is mandatory for all candidates.

• Original photo identity proof is compulsory at the exam centre; candidates without it will not be permitted to appear.

• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches, and sunglasses are strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

• No candidate will be permitted to enter the exam hall after the reporting time, and no candidate may leave the exam hall before the exam ends.

• Candidate eligibility verified at the time of the computer-based exam is provisional; actual document verification is carried out by the concerned department during the appointment process.

• Candidates belonging to Madhya Pradesh's special primitive tribal communities (Baiga, Sahariya/Saharia, and Bharia) applying for non-executive posts must submit their application in hard copy directly to the concerned department, along with all supporting documents, using the format in Annexure-2 - applications sent to MPESB in this case will not be considered valid.
