• Qualification: For Retail Construction Engineer: Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with min. 5 years experience OR Diploma in Civil/Mechanical Engineering with min. 10 years experience; AND experience in Construction of Buildings, Structurals, Warehouses, Tank farms, Oil Installations, Highway structures, Port Infrastructure. For Retail Engineer: Degree in Engineering (Any Branch) with min. 5 years experience OR Diploma in Engineering (Any Branch) with min. 10 years experience; AND experience in Fuel retail.

• Age Limit: UR/EWS: 40 years; OBC(NCL): 43 years; SC/ST: 45 years; UR/EWS with PwBD: 45 years; OBC(NCL) with PwBD: 48 years; SC/ST with PwBD: 50 years

• Pay Scale: ₹12 to 14 Lakh per annum (Annual Consolidated Pay)

Terminal Operation Engineer

• Qualification: Degree in Engineering (Any Branch) with min. 5 years experience OR Diploma in Engineering (Any Branch) with min. 10 years experience; AND experience in Oil Tank Farm Installations or Depots handling Motor Spirit (MS), High Speed Diesel (HSD), Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF).

• Age Limit: UR/EWS: 40 years; OBC(NCL): 43 years; SC/ST: 45 years; UR/EWS with PwBD: 45 years; OBC(NCL) with PwBD: 48 years; SC/ST with PwBD: 50 years

MRPL Selection Process 2026

The detailed selection procedure has been mentioned in the official notification of MRPL Engineer Recruitment 2026. But we are giving you here the short summary of the selection procedure. The candidates are advised to refer to official notification for selection procedure.

Selection Procedure:

• Personal Interview (PI): Selection will be through Personal Interview only. Eligible candidates will be called for PI in the ratio of 1:10 (post: candidates) after screening of applications.

• Screening (if applicable): If the number of eligible candidates exceeds the specified ratio, screening will be done based on: (i) Higher inline relevant educational qualifications than minimum prescribed, or (ii) Higher number of relevant experience (calculated in years, months and days). Screening criteria will be for elimination purpose only and will carry no weightage in final merit.

• Merit List: Once shortlisted for PI, merit will be drawn purely on the basis of performance in PI. Qualifying marks in PI: 50% for UR/EWS/OBC(NCL) and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD category.

• Tie-breaking: In case of equal marks in PI, the candidate older in age (by date of birth) shall be given preference.

1. Visit the MRPL website at https://www.mrpl.co.in/careers and click on ‘Advt. No. MRPL/PFTE/2026/02: Engagement of Personnel on Fixed Term Employment’.

2. Click on ‘Click here to register online’ to generate Login ID and Password.

3. Sign in using the generated Login ID and Password and fill in the online application form with correct details including educational qualifications, caste, and other required information.

4. Upload scanned copies of required documents: recent passport size photograph, signature, educational credentials, work experience documents, caste/PwBD/EWS certificate as applicable.

5. Upon submission, the system will generate an Application ID sent via email/SMS.

6. General, OBC(NCL) and EWS candidates: Click ‘Pay Now’, select payment category as ‘Advt. No. MRPL/PFTE/2026/02’, and pay application fee of ₹118/- online. Save and upload the payment confirmation receipt. Then click ‘Already Paid’, sign in, submit SBI eCollect Reference Number, Payment Bank Name and Payment Date, upload receipt, and click ‘Next’. Then upload all required documents and click ‘Submit’.

7. SC/ST/PwBD/ESM candidates: Directly upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, educational credentials, work experience documents and other required documents, then click ‘Submit’.

8. Save the PDF of the submitted online application form for future reference. Do not send the printout to MRPL unless specifically asked.
