PFRDA Officer Grade A Eligibility Criteria

PFRDA Officer Grade A eligibility 2026 covers nationality, educational qualification and age limit. Applicants must be Indian citizens, computer literate, and conversant with MS-Office (Word and Excel). Candidates can apply for a maximum of 2 streams, with a separate online application and fee required for each stream. Eligibility for the General stream also extends to candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Law, Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or ACA/FCA (ICAI), ACS/FCS (ICSI), ACMA/FCMA (ICMAI), or CFA (CFA Institute).

PFRDA Officer Grade A Salary

Selected candidates will draw pay in the scale of Rs. 62,500-3600(4)-76,900-4050(7)-1,05,250-EB-4050(4)-1,21,450-4650(1)-1,26,100 (17 years). As per the notification, gross emoluments - including PFRDA's contribution towards the National Pension System (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Special Grade Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Local Allowance, Family Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, Learning Allowance and Housing Allowance - work out to approximately Rs. 2,05,000 per month at the minimum of the scale. Other benefits include Leave Fare Concession, medical expense reimbursement, Personal Accident Insurance, Children Education Allowance, Knowledge Updation Allowance, conveyance expenses, House Cleaning Allowance, and a Pluxee Meal Card, among others admissible to an Officer Grade A in PFRDA.

Selection Procedure:

The selection process consists of three stages:

1. Phase I – Online Screening Examination (October 15, 2026):

   • Paper 1 (All Streams): English Language (25 marks, 20 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (25 marks, 20 questions), Test of Reasoning (25 marks, 30 questions), General Awareness including Financial Sector (25 marks, 20 questions) – Total 100 marks, 90 questions, 60 minutes.

   • Paper 2: General Stream – MCQs on Commerce, Accountancy, Management, Finance, Costing, Companies Act, Economics, Pension Sector, AI, Media, Marketing & Communication (100 marks, 50 questions, 40 minutes). Research, Actuary and Official Language Streams – MCQs on Specialised subject related to stream (100 marks, 50 questions, 40 minutes).

   • Negative marking: 1/4th of marks for wrong answers in both papers.

   • Marks in Phase I used only for shortlisting for Phase II; not counted in final selection.

2. Phase II – Online Examination (November 20, 2026):

   • Paper 1 (All Streams): English Descriptive Test to test drafting skills (100 marks, 3 questions, 60 minutes) – Weightage: 1/3rd.

   • Paper 2: General Stream – MCQs on Commerce, Accountancy, Management, Finance, Costing, Companies Act, Economics, Pension Sector, AI, Media, Marketing & Communication (100 marks, 50 questions, 40 minutes). Research, Actuary and Official Language Streams – MCQs on Specialised subject (100 marks, 50 questions, 40 minutes) – Weightage: 2/3rd.

3. Click ‘CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION’ and enter Name, Contact details and Email-ID to get a Provisional Registration Number and Password.

4. Fill in all required details in the online application form carefully.

5. Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwriting declaration as per specified guidelines.
