Selection Process

Shortlisting of candidates will be based on the criteria set by the University.

The candidates who have submitted applications by hand or by post and found eligible after scrutiny will be informed through University website for Interview.

The date/schedule of interview will be conveyed later to the candidates who are found eligible for the Post of Trainers (Yoga) by email or through university website. Any further changes in the schedule will be notified through university website i.e. www.graupunjab.org.

The Candidates must have to bring hard copy of filled application form and all original educational qualifications and Experience document (along with a set of self-attested photocopies) before the Selection Committee on the Date of Interview.

Appointment against these posts shall be purely temporary and governed by the term and conditions set by the University. It shall not form any basis for the regular appointment in this University.

The appointment will be made for an initial period of one year extendable further, subject to half-yearly performance report.

The appointments can be terminated at any time by either of the parties at a notice of one week to the other party.

The competent authority reserves all the right to cancel the interview and not to fill all or any post.

How to Apply

Applications on the prescribed proforma to be submitted along with all the relevant documents either by hand or by post to Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University Punjab, VPO Kharkan, Una Road, Hoshiarpur, Pin Code-146110.

The application form must reach on or before 30.04.2026 (upto 05:00 PM), either by hand or by post.

All columns must be filled in the application form. No column should be left blank, instead it should be marked “N.A.” wherever not applicable.

Applications received after the due date will not be entertained. Also, applications received through email will not be entertained.

The University shall not be responsible for any postal delay.

All the desirous candidates should bring with them the original duly filled Application Proforma available on the website of the University i.e. www.graupunjab.org.

No documents will be accepted or considered by the University after submission of copy of application form by the candidate and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

General Instructions

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.

• A candidate who has passed Senior Secondary/10+2 Examination from Govt. recognized education board and has obtained Diploma in Yoga Sciences or equivalent or Higher Qualification is eligible to apply for the post of Trainer(Yoga).

• Appointment against these posts shall be purely temporary and governed by the term and conditions set by the University. It shall not form any basis for the regular appointment in this University.

• The candidates, working in any organization including Private organizations, claiming previous experience of working in Govt. Department/Autonomous Bodies/ Universities under Central /State Government shall have to enclose a certificate from that Government organization stating no Vigilance or Disciplinary case is pending or contemplated against them.

• The candidates already working on the regular basis in any college, institution or University shall have to apply through proper channel and enclose “No Objection Certificate” from the employer, stating that in case of their selection, they will be allowed to join the said post.

• The experience of any candidate will be considered only if the experience certificate is enclosed.

• No TA/DA in connection with the submission of application form or appearing in the examination/interview will be paid to the candidate.

• No enquiry in person or in writing for recruitment shall be entertained.

• No documents will be accepted or considered by the University after submission of copy of online application form by the candidate and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted.

• Any dispute with regard to this recruitment will be subject to the Courts/Tribunals having jurisdiction over State of Punjab.

• Any candidate who is currently pursuing studies shall continue their studies only through distance education mode and shall submit an undertaking stating that their studies will not suffer due to their engagement as a Trainer Yoga. Prior approval for this shall be taken by candidate after selection as Trainer Yoga.

• If at any stage, it is found that candidate doesn’t fulfill the eligibility criteria, his/her application will be summarily rejected. Therefore, candidates shall ensure at their end that they fulfill the required eligibility criteria as prescribed in the advertisement for the applied post.

• In case any dispute over interpretation of any rules, regulation etc. the decision of the Registrar, Guru Ravidas Ayurved University - Hoshiarpur, Punjab, shall be final and binding upon the candidates.

• Any candidate(s) who was / were recruited earlier under the ‘CM DI Yogshala’ project and his / her services were terminated; they are not eligible to apply against this advertisement.

• All the desirous candidates should bring with them the original duly filled Application Proforma available on the website of the University i.e. www.graupunjab.org.

• The candidates will have to produce original documents at the time of Interview. No candidate will be entertained without original Certificates/ Documents.

• One set of self-attested Photocopies of all the relevant Certificates/documents right from the Matriculation Certificate showing Date of Birth.
