• The applicant must be a domicile of Rajasthan.

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in sanitation work in any urban local body of Rajasthan to be eligible.

• This 1-year experience can be either continuous or accumulated in separate spells that together total 1 year.

  1. The Chief Municipal Officer (or an officer authorised by them), if the candidate was directly employed by the urban local body; or

  2. Rajasthan Safai Karmachari Recruitment 2026 - Age Limit

As on 1 January 2027, the candidate must have completed 21 years of age and must not have exceeded 40 years of age, as per the provisions of the Rajasthan Contractual Hiring to Civil Posts Rules, 2022.

Important: Age relaxation benefits under the various categories above are non-cumulative — a candidate can avail the relaxation under only one applicable provision, not a combination of multiple provisions. The lottery process will follow this order of priority:

1. First, candidates possessing 1 year of sanitation work experience in the same ULB (for which they applied) will be included in the lottery.
